Dear All, The Florida Haitian Student Association Inc. (FHSA) is a non-profit organization that serves as an umbrella to all Haitian student groups in Florida’s higher learning institutions. Our goal is to dispel the negative myths regarding Haiti, its people and its culture. We are a young association that was founded in April 1999 at the University of South Florida where the first two annual conferences were held. Each year we have witnessed a growth in attendance and a growth in participation. On behalf of the Florida Haitian Student Association (FHSA), I would like to invite you and your members to join us in our 2007 Annual Conference, April 6-8, 2007, at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. The theme for the conference this year is: Haiti Must Survive…Epi That’s It. Your participation will provide your student organization a forum to share information on current issues that are affecting our republic and how we can nurse it back to health. Your organization is a valuable partner and resource. We need action-oriented, thinking men and women that are willing to take action. We are excited and we hope that you would consider joining this movement at the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida for our 8th Annual Conference. This will be a grand event and even grander with you being in attendance. If you have questions or need more information, contact Nathalie Milias at (813) 900-5798, Ismaela Louissaint at (813) 404-2941or by email at
